In the 1960s, Japanese architects think about reinventing Paris drawing Metabolism, which converts Japanese megalopolis like Tokyo. They stood out in 1971 for the support of the construction of the Center Pompidou; the opportunity to display their new vision of urban planning. Japanese architects then participate in numerous competitions for major works in Paris but will never be successful.
