The House of the French Communist Party

The House of the French Communist Party
At the top of a sloping garden, a mysterious white dome and an undulating glass facade: the House of the French Communist Party, built between 1965 and 1980 by Oscar Niemeyer. A fine example of Jean Prouvé's curtain wall façade, the extraordinary Central Committee room under the dome is one of the finest Parisian buildings of the period.
