The Unal house was designed by Claude Häusermann-Costy and built by Joël Unal between 1972 and 2008. Like many French people, Mr. and Mrs. Unal dreamed of living in a detached house. A classic program, the family home, leads to a singular result - a bubble house built without any right angles. A single construction technique is used for all the volumes of the house: a concrete veil without formwork, hand-laid on a metal frame.
