In 1908, Pierre-Auguste Renoir had a neo-Provençal style house-studio built in Cagnes-sur-Mer, in The Domaine des Collettes. Also known as Renoir Museum, it has a collection of fourteen original paintings and forty sculptures in a setting that reflects the last years of the painter's life and work.
