Orsay Museum

The Musée d’Orsay, originally a railway station built in Paris for the 1900 World’s Fair, houses European artworks dating from 1848 to 1914. Numerous artistic styles are on display: academism, realism, symbolism, Art Nouveau and of course, impressionism with world famous works such as Manet’s “Olympia”, Renoir’s “Ball at the Moulin de la Galette”, Degas’ “The Star on Stage” and Seurat’s “Circus”.
