In June 2017, for the European Heritage Days, the “Rencontres Audiovisuelles” in Lille launched an international Video Mapping competition. Candidates, students and professionals in audiovisual, animation film, digital arts and graphic design had two months to prepare a 2-to-5-minutes mapping for the front of the "Porte de Paris" in Lille, on the topic "Gate of Time"
