Valérie Belin

Born in 1964, Valérie Belin studies Fine Arts and Art Philosophy. She soon chooses photography as a support. Focusing on objects and then on characters, she works on series according to a strict and minimal protocol. Despite the monumental size of her works, an uncertainty persists about the reality and the identity of the subject photographed. From the late 90's, her work is widely recognized and Valérie Belin exhibits her work in galleries and museums worldwide, in Europe and in the United States.
