Rolex Learning Center, Lausanne

Set on the shores of Lake Geneva, a wave of concrete and glass has inspired many metaphors since its construction: some see it as a slice of Emmental cheese, others as a molecular fabric, and still others as a moth-eaten flying carpet. The building houses a "Learning Center", a new concept for a multifunctional space dedicated to knowledge.
