The school board of Fort de France in Martinique is the only contemporary architecture building built in Martinique but also the only administrative building naturally ventilated by the trade winds. Between the challenges of natural ventilation and the imperatives of an architectural approach, Christian Hauvette has designed a fully open building where the boundary between inside and outside disappears.
