Gustav Klimt, a Vienna Secession leader and an Austrian painter, was one of the first painters to spread the Art nouveau in the Austro-Hungarien empire. He received the gold medal of merit from the Austria Emperor for his work and also painted one of the most expensive portrait in the world. Egon Schiele is also an Austrian painter and one of the founder of the artistic group “Neukunstgruppe”, influenced by the works of Van Gogh or Toulouse-Lautrec. His friendship with Klimt helped him in his work to develop hiw own style by drawing characters and tortured bodies. His works are considered “grotesque, erotic, pornographic or disturbing”.
